When I got home from work last night, Charlie had made a little snack for me! He made a little salad which was very yummy (and I was very hungry...night shifts kind of throw off my usual meal schedule). I had been talking about how I needed to get the bathtub all cleaned up so that I could take a bath in it sometime soon. Well, he surprised me by having the tub all cleaned up and had lit candles in the bathroom to make it look all serene and romantic. How sweet is that?! So I got to take a little bubble bath last night. Charlie kept busy by starting to compile some new recipes for us to try in the next few weeks. Then he even topped the evening off with glasses of white wine with raspberries resting in the bottom of the glasses. It was just a very sweet evening!
And what was the occasion? Well, there wasn't one. And that's what made it so special. He did it just because. I can't reiterate enough the fact that I truly feel like the luckiest girl in the world.
Charlie was teaching this morning, but he's back now. So, let's get to the picture posting!
