Day 129 - 236 Days to Go!

Good weekend!

Had a get together with friends on Friday night (it was an interesting mix of people -- lots of introductions) and it was very fun! Saturday, Charlie and I spent a lot of the day catching up on some Glee and doing some wedding stuff, mainly just working out some menu options for our caterer and chatting about our guest list revisions. I babysat last night and had a really good time. Making extra loot to put away into an envelope for safe keeping is a really great feeling. I come home, hand the cash to Charlie, and tell him to put it in the secret hiding place. :) Good idea, right? And I am even set up to babysit again for this family for two more Saturday nights in February, one of which is during the time when Charlie will be back in MI for some rehearsals. It's a nice way to keep myself occupied and not thinking about how much I miss him (because it's true -- just a day or two away from him and I start to reeeaaaalllly miss him).

Today, we were able to sleep in. It was GLORIOUS. We managed to get out for a jog, which makes me feel very happy. I would really like to include jogging into a regular routine because Charlie is a fantastic runner and a great athlete. I am calling him my personal trainer. :) We rely on one another often for strength and support, and this is just another way to take advantage of that. I like how I feel after a good jog, and I like how happy it makes Charlie to have a jogging partner. Afterward, we did the usual -- grocery shopping and other errands. We did plenty of laundry and then went out to the dollar theater to see "The Social Network". It was pretty good!

Now we're home, gearing up for our some curtain sewing! We'll chat more wedding and try to compile more email and home addresses for our save the dates and invitations. For the picture of the day, I'd like to once again showcase how ridiculously adorable our dogs are.

They just don't get it. We often catch Shenzi in Nala's bed, but in this unusual case, Nala walked up to her bed while Shenzi was in it and just sat there, seeming as though she was just waiting for Shenzi to get out of it. She got bored with that and chose to curl up on Shenzi's bed. Charlie and I just cracked up. These two create a lot of entertainment for us.
