So wedding planning seems to be coming to fruition in these past few days! Charlie and I have received information regarding hotel blocking (and we might just be able to avoid a contract - WOO HOO!) and have set up a phone meeting with a possible officiant. I am really looking forward to talking to her tonight. Now, we've really gotta get crackin' on our menu choices so that we can better ballpark our overall cost for our caterer. We know it'll be pretty much last minute before we'll know the final total, but right now our budget is truly the major factor in any other decisions we'd like to make, including a photographer. But just as Charlie and I have decided, I think that my cousin Audrey will do a fabulous job. It's getting really late in the game to hire a photographer and our budget is simply too tight.
Regardless, Charlie and I are going to have our dream wedding.

I really love this picture! This was taken our Junior year of college. Even Alec is in this one! Marching band was (and really, still is) a huge part of our growing relationship.
